First Focal Plane Reticles
A First Focal Plane, or FFP, reticle does not change the area it covers regardless of the power setting.
The FFP reticle subtends the same distance on a target whether the magnification ring is set at 5 power or at 40 power.
Historically, FFP scopes had thick bars that obscured the target at the highest settings,
but March has changed the rules making our FFP reticles usable at magnifications other scope makers can only aspire to.
For 1x-8x24mm
FMC-1 (MIL)
6 MIL center circle with 1/4 MIL width and crosshairs with vertical and horizontal hashes.
The crosshair width is 1/8 MIL in inside the 6 MIL circle, and 1/16 MIL in outside.
These hashes are placed in 1 MIL increment between center-10MIL.Also available in illuminated model.
FMC-2 (MIL)
Tow center circle with 0.5 MIL width and crosshair with vertical and horizontal hashes.
One of the circle of the diameter is 6 MIL, the other one is 25 MIL.
The crosshair width is 1/6 MIL in inside the 6 MIL circle, and 1/16 MIL in outside.
These hashes are placed in 1 MIL increment between center-10MIL.Also available in illuminated model.

DR-1 (Dual:FFP+SFP, MIL)
The newest March Dual Reticle has advantages of both SFP and FFP reticle. It has the convenience of the FFP reticle scale which magnifies and reduces according to the magnification and the usability of the SFP reticle with the constant thickness (to the eye not the scale value) of the line as the magnification changes. Placing the daylight bright fiber dot illumination to the Second Focal plane reticle ensures that the illuminated dot is usable across the entire magnification range; from a dot sight at low magnifications to a precise illuminated dot for long range precision shooting at higher magnifications with the use of the scale.
Blue numbers are for FFP. Scale value is the same whether you zoom in or out. Brown numbers are for SFP. Scale value changes when you zoom in and out.
DR-TR1 (Dual:FFP+SFP, MIL)
This is a tree type of the dual reticle DR-1. Dual reticle has the convenience of the FFP reticle scale which magnifies and reduces according to the magnification and the usability of the SFP reticle with the constant thickness of the line as the magnification changes. The daylight bright fiber dot illumination on the Second Focal plane can be used as a dot sight.
Black numbers are for FFP. Scale value is the same whether you zoom in or out. Blue numbers are for SFP. Scale value changes when you zoom in and out. Three thick lines are 0.3MIL at 10x, 3MIL at 1x.
DR-1F (Dual:FFP+SFP, MIL)
Best of both FFP and SFP reticles

FML-4 (MIL)
Reticle with a bright illuminated center circle is suitable for hunting and tactical shooting. We have developed an illumination that is bright even during the daytime. For use in bright daylight, please use level 5 or 6 (the brightest). For normal use, please use level 1-4.

1/4 MOA floating center dot and 0.2 (1/5) MOA crosshairs with vertical and horizontal hashes.
These hashes are placed in 1 MOA increment.

If you misread distance and/or wind slightly and you are shooting under time pressure and have to hold off with the reticle slightly, it is nice to have an offset reference rather than just a bunch of open space. It also provides an immediate reference point if you need to figure out how far off you are based on the bullet impact.
