DR-1F dual reticle (FFP+SFP) assembled in the New March 1-10×24 Shorty FFP riflescope with a 34mm tube
Posted 02/20/2023
This video shows the DR-1F dual reticle, best of both FFP and SFP reticles, assembled in the new March 1-10×24 Shorty FFP scope. (You can also choose a FFP reticle.) Daylight bright fiber dot illumination FD-1 reticle is placed on the second focal plane. We filmed on a snowy day and a sunny day at Nagano prefecture where our factory is located in Japan. You can see the brightness of the illumination on different weather.
The dual reticle has the convenience of the FFP reticle scale which magnifies and reduces according to the magnification and the usability of the SFP reticle with the constant thickness of the line as the magnification changes. Placing the daylight bright fiber dot illumination to the Second Focal plane reticle ensures that the illuminated dot is usable across the entire magnification range; from a dot sight at low magnifications to a precise illuminated dot for long range precision shooting at higher magnifications with the use of the scale.
*Please note that there are chromatic aberration and distortion in the peripheral part in this video due to Triggercam, the device we filmed this video with. The image quality is much better looking through the scope with naked eyes than through a device. Thank you for your understanding!
