Handcrafting March Scopes: Magnification adjustment for FFP scopes
Posted 06/22/2023
All March Scopes are hand built by craftsmen on a build-to-order basis at our factory in Japan. The craftsman sets up equipment and uses them to adjust the FFP (first focal plane) reticle so that its center is always in the same position. Video magnifies the reticle and displays it on the monitor.
As you may be aware, when you change the magnification of a FFP scope, the reticle zooms in and out. The center of the reticle must always be in the same constant position.
The craftsman checks the center position of the reticle and adjusts the scope if it is slightly off. He meticulously checks each scope one by one.
Thank you for your continued support!
