Congratulations to Ginny Billeaud for tying the Women’s National Record in F-Open at 600 yards with a fantastic score of 200-19X!! Below is a writeup by Ginny who kindly sent it to us.

“The recently concluded F-class National Championships in Lodi, Wisconsin was the setting for numerous achievements. DEON, the makers of the March riflescopes, would like to recognize such achievements attained using March riflescopes.

One such achievement is Ginny Billeaud tying the Women’s National Record in F-Open at 600 yards with a fantastic score of 200-19X on August 3rd, 2025, at Winnequah Gun Club.

Ginny explains that her rifle has the following components:

Ginny began competing in September 2024 and during her first long range competition at Long Range Alley Louisiana State Long Range Championship when she shot a 200-9X, something that had not been done by a new shooter up to now.  She was hooked, and the next month she and her husband Greg purchased and installed a March 8-80×56 Majesta on her rifle. Ginny went on to win High Woman at the 2025 edition of the Southwest Nationals in Phoenix, AZ.

Ginny explains “The unique MTR -WFD reticle provides a stable image across the entire reticle for holding a tight waterline and the many stadia lines assist with my holds in the stronger wind conditions when I need to hold past the target face with holdovers without manually dialing for wind. This is especially helpful since I can easily make an error by dialing the wrong way when trying to make a quick wind adjustment under pressure. Then when my ideal condition returns, I don’t have to worry about taking wind off my rifle, I just go back to my preferred hold.

When mirage is intense and the target is too difficult to see, I rely on the (top and bottom stadia lines) to frame the target. I’ve found that, by using this method, it helps me keep a tighter waterline than with other scopes that don’t have this feature.

My husband Greg and I both use March Majesta scopes on our rifles which helped us win the following medals at Nationals 2025.

Ginny:

  • 600 match 3 Silver 200-15X
  • 600 match 5 silver 200-19X

Greg :

  • 600 match 5 Bronze 200-18X

Jointly:

  • 600 team match 1 Gold 799-60X

Our March Majesta riflescopes helped our novice team win first place and a gold medal at Nationals 2025 in Lodi, Wisconsin in match 1 of the midrange teams match with a score of 799-60X and assisted in our solid 5th place finish in both the long-range teams matches.

Greg also holds a National Record in the Senior category tying the 900-yard Fullbore record of 150-10X in Byers, Colorado July 2024.

(Two National Record holders in the family)

I’m still a beginner and hope that as I compete in more matches, acquire more experience, and improve my skill level I can take advantage of all the tools that my March Majesta riflescope has to offer.

On a more personal note, I would not be as successful as I am in this sport without my husband Greg. We are truly a team.

Greg researched all the components, had our rifles built by all the best people and he works hard to develop and perfect our loads. (I support and assist when and where I can.)”

DEON wishes the Billeaud family continued success and looks forward to highlighting their future accomplishments with the March Majesta riflescope:)
