USA added to the postal suspension list – Important notice regarding shipment of repaired scopes

Posted 04/24/2020

To our respectable customers,

Corona virus pandemic has caused many countries to take measures such as stopping acceptance of

inbound postal items as well as considerable suspension and reduction of flights from / to Japan.

Accordingly, Japan’s transportation performance has significantly declined.

Due to reduction and suspension of airlines, Japan Post has announced that

they will suspend international shipment (EMS -Express Mail Service and Parcel post by Airmail and SAL).

And now they have added USA to the suspension list effective from April 24th Japan time.

Extract of some of the countries from the suspension list posted on Japan Post website :

◆Australia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Brazil, China, Turkey, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Austria, Greek,

Switzerland, Spain, Hungary, Belgium, Bulgaria,Poland, Portugal, Romania, Luxembourg, Russia,

Ukraine, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, New Caledonia, French Polynesia, New Zealand, South Africa etc.

It is taking a longer time than usual for us to receive the repair required scopes from all over the world.

Also there is no means to ship back the repaired scopes to the suspended countries.

We truly apologize for the inconvenience, but until the postal service resumes,

we truly appreciate that you withhold sending back scopes to Japan.

When the postal service in Japan resumes, we will notify on this website.

Shipments to Ukraine by sea will resume from April 27th Japan time.

Shipments to the Canada and UK  etc. are not yet affected.

We continue to ship rifle scopes to these countries.

However there may be a delay due to the reduction of airlines.
