We sincerely apologize for any concern or inconvenience regarding the POI shift observed in the 5–42×56 model. At this time, this issue has only been observed in the 5–42×56 model. We remain committed to ensuring that every shooter can use our products with confidence and will continue to support you with care and attention.
When to Consider Service
To help avoid unnecessary repairs and extended turnaround times, we kindly ask that you review the following items before sending your product in for service.
(1) Muzzle Area Check
-Ensure the muzzle brake is securely installed.
-Confirm it is mounted without unnecessary stress or misalignment.
(2) Mount and Ring Check
-Ensure the scope rings are properly installed.
-Confirm all screws are tightened evenly to the recommended torque as in the link below.

(3) Shooting Environment
-Confirm you are shooting from a stable platform, such as a benchrest setup.
(4) Functional Check
-Verify that your initial zero is properly set.
-Adjust the elevation dial and check whether the point of impact moves as expected with your adjustments.
-Ensure parallax is properly adjusted. Please refer to the link below.

-If possible, we recommend testing under consistent conditions and confirming results with a small group of shots.
After completing the checks above, and confirming your zero, if you still observe a consistent point-of-impact shift of 0.4 mil or greater in the elevation direction, we recommend considering service. *Please note that no issues have been identified in the windage direction.
Before Contacting Us
When contacting us, we would greatly appreciate it if you could provide the results of all the checks listed above. This information helps us process your repair more efficiently and may help reduce overall service time.
Service Turnaround Time (For U.S. Customers)
Service requires us to hold your product for a period of time:
- Shipping (Texas to Japan): approximately 1 week
- Additional time may be required for Japanese customs clearance
As rifle scopes are considered weapons and are regulated items in Japan, an export permit is required before return, which typically takes approximately 2–3 weeks. Even under normal conditions and without any shipping issues, the total turnaround time, including round-trip shipping, may take a minimum of approximately 5–6 weeks.
Please note: The export application requires confirmation via email with you. Delays in your response may result in delays in the overall process.
Return Shipping
Once export approval is obtained, we will arrange return shipment promptly. The product will be shipped directly from Japan to you. Return shipping typically takes about 1 week, depending on customs conditions. We aim to complete the repair while the export permit is being processed and to return your product as soon as approval is granted. As the cause has already been identified in this case, we expect to proceed with the repair more quickly than usual. For your reference, for general repair cases where the cause cannot be immediately determined, a thorough investigation may be required, which can result in a longer service time compared to this case.
Final Notes
We understand that experiences may vary depending on individual setups and conditions. We encourage you to perform the checks above as much as possible, and if you continue to notice concerning behavior, please feel free to consider service. If your scope is performing as expected, there is no need to send it in.
Please also note that your scope will be out of your possession during the service period. We will do our utmost to complete the process as quickly and carefully as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We remain committed to supporting all shooters and ensuring your confidence in our products.
