The 2026 IPRF Centerfire World Championship was recently held at Gravestone Precision Shooting in Texas, USA, bringing together top precision rifle shooters from around the world. For those unfamiliar with IPRF, the International Precision Rifle Federation World Championship is a global competition in Precision Rifle Shooting (PRS), a dynamic long-range shooting discipline that challenges competitors to engage multiple targets from a variety of shooting positions under strict time limits.

We were proud to see New Zealand representative Lawrence Tanner compete on the world stage with his March FX 5-42×56 PRS Edition. The competition presented extremely demanding conditions, including heavy mirage, dust, extreme heat, and constantly shifting winds. After the World Championship, Lawrence shared his experience with us:

“My March FX 5–42×56 PRS Edition performed exceptionally well at the IPRF Worlds, despite the demanding conditions of heavy mirage, dust and extreme heat. The outstanding glass clarity, large, easily marked turrets with precise, positive clicks, and intuitive reticle made the scope a pleasure to use under pressure. Having complete confidence in my optics allowed me to focus on reading the mirage and responding to the constantly shifting winds. After proving itself on the world stage, my March FX 5–42×56 PRS Edition has earned a permanent place on my competition rifle.”

Thank you, Lawrence, for choosing March Scopes and for representing New Zealand on the world stage. We are honored that you trusted the March FX 5-42×56 PRS Edition for such an important competition, and we greatly appreciate you sharing your experience and photos with us. We applaud Lawrence for representing New Zealand on the world stage and wish him continued success in his future matches!
