Congratulations Peter Cross (Australia) on winning the 2023 National Fly Championship!

Congratulations Peter Cross (Australia) on winning the 2023 National Fly Championship! He shot with the special Silver March 8x-80×56 which he won in a raffle to celebrate the 30th Anniversary National Championships of the 500m Fly shooting (created by benchrest competitors) in 2020 just after his property was burnt by the prolonged period of bushfires at that time. Peter is also a National Record holder in Light Gun class– 276.3 (out of a total possible 300) set in April 2022.
Below is a comment by Peter.
“I been asked more than a few times what I think of the Cheetah Barrels. Without a doubt this one shoots as good, if not better than anything I own. And when you get Russell to chamber it, put it in one of Wazz’s MarXman Bigfoot Stocks (aka Warren Gardiner ) Put a Beautiful March Scope on top of it, (Thanks Stuart and Annie from BRT Shooters Supply ) You end up with a combination that will be very hard to beat if you do your part. OH!!! And wear a Kaizen Tactical jacket so you don’t bloody freeze to death, Thanks Mark and Fi “

Peter won it by shooting a 7 SAUM in a Warren Gardner’s Bigfoot Stock with a 30 inch, 1 twist over 8 inches Cheetah Barrel fitted by Russell Le Maitre from Group Solutions Gunsmithing.
