Exciting news from the Highlands and beyond! After a successful ELR practice in the Highlands, our managing director, Gary Costello, headed to the picturesque Jubilee Range at Blair Atholl for Round 5 of the GB (Great Britain) F Class National League. Known as the Scottish Championships, this challenging two-day shoot at 900 yards is held at Blair Atholl, the second most difficult range in the world after Trentham Range in New Zealand.
We are thrilled to announce that Gary finished in first place overall in F Open, marking his second National Championship win in a row this year! Gary used the March X 8-80×56 MAJESTA High Master with MTR-W1 Reticle, mounted in March Superlight Titanium Rings, perfectly matched to the MAJESTA body. His setup included a Borden BRMXD rifle with a Benchmark Barrel chambered in 7mm RSAUM and an AS Rifle Stock. The competition was fiercely contested and decided by just one point over second place.
We’re equally excited to share that second place in F Open was claimed by long-time March Scopes owner Steve Rigby, who also used the March X 8-80×56 MAJESTA High Master.
Congratulations to both Gary and Steve for their remarkable achievements! We wish them the best of luck at the F Class European Championships next month at Bisley.
