“Best scope in the PRS: March FX 5-42×56 PRS Edition” video by Moondog 2A

Thank you Moondog 2A for reviewing our latest MarchFX 5-42x56Genll PRS edition riflescope!
The March‑FX 5–42×56 FFP High Master is not only the widest (26° AOV) riflescope in our lineup, but also a testament to DEON’s pioneering spirit. Introduced in 2019, it was the first scope to feature DEON’s “Wide Angle” eyepiece—delivering a field of view 70% larger than a standard 20° scope. Creating a wide field of view has trade‑offs such as resulting in a tighter eyebox. However, DEON discovered that a 25–26° AOV hits the “Goldilocks Zone” for riflescopes—wide enough for excellent field of view, yet without optical downsides. March wide-angle scopes maintain this large AOV consistently across their zoom range, avoiding any “tunneling” effects at low magnifications. (*The AOV for the 5-42×56 is 26 degrees throughout the magnification range except at 5x which is 25 degrees.) The use of Super‑ED lenses in the High‑Master optical system nearly eliminates chromatic aberration, especially around the edges of the sight picture. Thanks to this balanced design, the eyebox remains comfortable, and shooters enjoy a significantly larger field of view without suffering from poorer eye relief or distortion that higher AOVs often bring.
