March 8-80×56 Majesta Genll Writable Turret Explanation Video by Sure SHot Tactical

Posted 07/09/2026

The new March 8-80×56 Majesta Gen II Writable Turret introduces a practical turret system that allows shooters to personalize their settings by writing directly on the turret surface. The comparison video released by Sure Shot Tactical demonstrates not only the operation of the Gen II Writable Turret alongside the Gen I and Gen II Shuriken turret systems, but also how the writable function can be used effectively in real-world shooting situations.

The writable surface provides a convenient way to record various personal reference points, such as the rifle’s confirmed zero position, frequently used focus distances, elevation values, or other preferred settings. This allows shooters to quickly identify their commonly used configurations when needed.

The factory reference line on the index ring of the elevation dial indicates the optical center position of the scope’s erector system. This reference line serves as a fixed reference point, providing an equal amount of elevation adjustment range both above and below the optical center.

On the Writable Windage Turret, the “0” position has been moved slightly upward compared to Gen I to improve visibility. In addition, all numbers on the right side are now engraved in red, making the windage direction more intuitive and easier to identify at a glance.

After the scope has been zeroed, the factory reference line no longer represents the rifle’s actual zero position. The Writable Turret allows users to add their own zero mark directly on the turret while preserving the original reference line that indicates the scope’s optical center. The Gen II Writable Turret provides a flexible way for shooters to customize their turret markings according to their individual needs and shooting style.

March Scopes will continue to listen to strive to further improve our products, focusing on creating scopes that are even more intuitive and user-friendly!
