Top 3 best selling March Scopes for Hunting
Posted 09/12/2019
Hopefully now that you have read our column, “What to consider when choosing a Hunting Scope”
today we will disclose our top 3 best selling March Scopes favored by hunters.
1st Place 3x-24×42
This 3x-24×42 scope covers from close range to long range shooting.
It is suitable for hunting but it can also be used for competitions.
We believe that this scope’s versatility is the reason why it is the top selling scope.
3x-24×42 is a FFP (first focal plane) so when you change the magnification,
the target and the reticle will scale up (magnify) and down (reduce) together.
You do not have to calculate the scale value as it will always be consistent regardless of the magnification.
Also the point of aim (POA) does not change throughout the entire zoom range.
For SFP(second focal plane scope), the reticle will always be consistent.
Even at high magnification, reticle will not change and only the target will magnify.
If you prefer SFP reticle, we suggest that you choose our second best selling scope.
2nd Place 2.5x-25×42
We are the first manufacturer to develop 10-fold magnification ratio scope in the industry.
This 2.5x-25×42 10-fold magnification ratio scope covers from close range to long range shooting,
enabling you to use at multiple purposes from hunting to competitions.
This is a SFP(second focal plane) scope. The reticle will always be consistent.
Even at high magnification, reticle will not change and only the target will magnify.
You will be able to see the thick strong reticle even at the lowest magnification.
3rd Place 3x-24x52mm & 2.5x-25x52mm
3rd best selling scopes are 3x-24x52mm which has larger objective lens than the top selling 3x-24×42,
and the 2.5x-25x52mm which has larger objective lens than the 2nd best selling 2.5x-25×42.
When comparing the weight between 3x-24×42 and 3x-24x52mm scopes,
(both will have illuminated reticle of FML, FML-2, FML-MB), the weight gain is 55g.
695g(3x-24x52mm) – 640g(3x-24×42) = 55g
If I were to choose, I would choose 3x-24x52mm because of the larger objective lens
which will take in more light essential for hunting and it only weighs 55g more.
When comparing the weight between 2.5x-25×42 and 2.5x-25×52 scopes,
(both will have illuminated reticle of MTR-1,2,3,4,5,FT), the weight gain is 45g.
695g(2.5x-25×52) – 650g(2.5x-25×42) = 45g
If I were to choose, I would choose 2.5x-25x52mm because of the larger objective lens
which will take in more light essential for hunting and it only weighs 45g more.

Extra Edition 5x-40x56mm
If you want to aim a large game at a long distance 5x-40x56mm is a popular scope.
At Hokkaido which is at the northern part of Japan, hunters shoot large brown bears and large Hokkaido dear with this 5x-40x56mm scope.
Hokkaido is famous for skiing and some of you may have visited Niseko Ski resort.
Those who have visited may notice, but Hokkaido has different ecological system than the rest of Japan and it is like Alaska in the USA.
