We regret to announce the passing of Morimasa Yoshie, Director and one of the founders of DEON Optical Design Corporation, on June 24th, 2023, while under medical treatment.

Yoshie-san devoted himself to the establishment and subsequent development of the company, and carried the heavy responsibility to the end. We would like to express our deepest gratitude for his kindness, wish his soul rest in peace and extend our sincere condolences to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working with him. We will continue to follow the wishes of the deceased and make every effort to develop the company’s business.

His favorite quote was ”Tomorrow Never Comes” by Norma Cornett Marek. Yoshie-san said that people tend to think that there’s always tomorrow, but for the rest of his life he wants to live a life with no regrets making the most of every single day. He sure gave it his all to the end and we were inspired by his attitude. We will miss him more than words can say.
