Relocating to the new factory

Commemorating 15th year anniversary of March Scopes and to install new equipment to achieve even higher quality we are relocating.

Our CEO Shimizu-san founded DEON Optical Design Corporation, manufacturer of March Scopes, in 2004 after working for an optical company manufacturing OEM products for more than 35years developing high-grade scopes for many companies around the world. He started DEON together with his comrades who are specialists in their fields respectively, so as to aim for the world’s top quality and pursue the possibility. We will continue to pursue this challenge relentlessly to manufacture scopes that have never existed in the world and to achieve the highest performance and quality possible. We have always put customers first. If a manufacturing problem caused the defect, we will repair the scope for no additional cost to the owner even after the Warranty has expired (all cases determined by the Manufacturer). We do not place regular splendid advertisements. Our advertising fee is extremely near 0.0×%. By cutting down advertising fee, we try to contribute back to our customers by manufacturing better products. In spite of the fact that all our scopes are handbuilt by expert Japanese craftsmen using only genuine top quality 150 parts of Japanese make, we try to keep the selling price as low as possible. We manufacture March Scopes from beginning to end consistently. Before and after our expert Japanese craftsmen hand assemble March Scopes, we use precise inspection instruments (some are custom made especially for March Scopes) to aim for perfection. 17 years has passed since we founded March Scopes. In order to achieve even higher quality, committing to discerning customers, we decided to install more testing equipment. However with our current factory being too small to do that, we’ve decided to relocate our factory.

When we first started business by designing for other companies. Then we received an order to manufacturer scopes and we shipped our very first March Scopes to the US in 2006. The renowned Benchrest and F-class shooter, the owner of March Scope’s distributor “Cal Shooting Supplies”, Lou Murdica in the US is our first customer. Our founders had worked at an optical company manufacturing OEM high-end optical for more than 35 years and had been in this optical industry for more than 50 years now. However no one knew our company back then when we started DEON and we greatly thank Lou for trusting us and placing the first order. This year is our 15th anniversary since the first March Scope came into the world. Commemorating our 15th anniversary and in order to move to the NEXT STAGE, we are relocating next month. Thank you all for your continued support. We couldn’t have come this far if it wasn’t for each and every March Scope owner.

3) 1-10×24 Shorty FFP in MIL

At Deon, we are very proud of our technical expertise that allowed us to design and create a scope with a 10X zoom range and a dual reticle. The technical and assembly challenges with respect to dual reticles are extreme and we are pushing the limits of the state of the art in reticle design. The tolerances required in assembly of the DR-1 are such that very few are able to do it, especially with a 10X zoom ratio. Any deviation from these extremely tight tolerances will be visible in the 10X zoom range. The assembly of this scope, like all our other offerings, is meticulous. This is want we are known for: superb assembly of extremely strong fine works of art.

1-10×24 Shorty is a very compact LPVO with our newest Dual Reticle having advantages of both SFP and FFP reticles.
It is very difficult to place FFP reticle and SFP reticle in alignment which requires skillful technique.
Our expert craftsmen were able to align the 2 reticles meeting high standards.
1-10×24 Shorty is an ultra compact scope with length of 8.4inch and weight of 17.8oz.
